10. FOREIGN OBJECTS
Never place foreign objects in the apertures available in the casing of the Receiver; this could result in
damage to individual parts thereof, or electric shock.
11. REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS
In case where replacement of components is required, please, make sure that the part you use to install
has been certified by the manufacturer and has the same characteristics as the original component. Non-
certified components could result in additional malfunctions of the Receiver.
WARNING!
1. Please observe the following instructions in order to avoid damage to the power cord and the plug
connector. Never try to disassemble and repair the power cable and the connector plug by yourself. Never
twist or bend the power cord. Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet while always holding the
plug connector, rather than the cord. Take care that the power cord be at a distance from heating devices,
in order that the electric insulation be safe, and to avoid melting thereof.
2. Please observe the offered instructions. Non-observance of either of the instructions can result in electric
shock. Never open the casing. Never place metallic or flammable objects inside the Receiver. Never touch
the Receiver and the power cord with wet hands. Disconnect the power cord from the electric mains during
thunderstorms.
3. Never use a faulty Receiver. In case of use of a faulty Receiver it can become damaged seriously. In case of
malfunction of the Receiver, please, address the nearest service centre.
4. Never insert foreign objects and metallic objects into the slots intended for access modules and for
smart-cards. Doing such can result in damage to the Receiver and reduction of its service life.
