4 Close the left side panel and the print
cartridge door. When closing the left side
panel, ensure the phone line is routed
through the upper notch in the panel.
5 Plug the other end of the phone cord into
the phone jack on the left side.
If you want to connect additional devices,
such as a phone, to the phone line, continue
to "Connecting additional devices" on page
If you do not want to connect other devices,
continue to "Specifying the fax settings" on
page 14.
