Important note:
The NT 801 B1 is an industrial vacuum cleaner that has been
tested as per ZH 1/487 for the vacuuming (main switch in position
1) of dust particles originating from carcinogenic substances
according to GefStoffV §35 but excluding particularly dangerous
carcinogenic substances covered by §15a, whereby the cleaned
air is discharged into the room where cleaning is taking place;
Verwendungskategorie C.
The vacuuming of normal or coarse-grained dirt presents no
problems when the cleaner is operated with only the filter
cartridge fitted.
• The additional safety filter bag (described in section "Care and
Maintenance") must be fitted when vacuuming fine dust particles
(for order no. – see Accessories section).
• Change filter if necessary (see section Care and maintenance).
• The cleaner is equipped with a suction power monitoring
arrangement. If the air speed within the suction hose falls below
20 m/sec, an indicator lamp illuminates.
- Switch cleaner OFF, and replace the full filter bag.
- Check suction hose and any fitted accessories for blockages.
• It may also be necessary to replace the filter cartridge if the
cleaner has been in use for a long period of time.
It is possible for the indicator lamp to occasionally illuminate during
normal operation (e.g. working with a floor nozzle) if there is a
reduction in the amount of air that flows (smaller cross-section), and
this in turn causes a corresponding increase in the suction power.
In this case it is not a fault that is being indicated, but merely a sign
that – as detailed above – the amount of air has reduced, and the
suction power has increased.
