4. Trouble-shooting

With the help of the following information you should be able to resolve any problems that might occur
yourself.
Malfunction
Motor (suction turbine)
does not start
Suction force is gradually
decreasing
Dust is escaping during
the suction process
Filter indicator lights up
All testing and work on electrical components should be carried out by a qualified electrician. In the case
of more serious problems, please contact KÄRCHER Customer Service.

Cause
No voltage
Rotary switch is incorrectly set
Cartridge filter, nozzle, suction
hose or suction pipe blocked
Cartridge filter not correctly
fitted or defective
Filter bag full or cartridge filter
clogged
Remedy
Check fuse, plug, and socket
Change over
Check, clean accessories, change
filter bag or replace cartridge filter
Check filter seat or replace
Switch off cleaner, replace filter
bag or change cartridge filter.
