5. For more thorough cleaning of the dust container, the fi lter
unit can be removed from the dust container. There is
therefore an arrow mark on the side of the dust container
(see picture).
6. If the fi lter unit is inserted correctly in the dust container,
the upper arrow points towards the lower arrow of the
closed lock symbol (see picture).
7. To remove the fi lter unit, turn the dust container lid until the
upper arrow points towards the lower arrow of the open
lock symbol.
8. Pull the fi lter unit up and out.
9. Clean the dust container and the fi lter unit if
necessary with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Then wipe with a dry cloth.
10. Make sure when cleaning that the HEPA fi lter
does not get wet. You can read about how to
clean the HEPA fi lter in the next "Cleaning the
HEPA Filter" section.
11. To put the dust container and the fi lter unit back together
again, you must insert the fi lter unit in such a way that the
upper arrow points towards the open lock symbol.
12. Turn the dust container lid until the upper arrow points
towards the closed lock symbol and locks in place.
13. Insert the dust container back into the vacuum cleaner. The
dust container must be heard to engage in place.
