Pulling Out the Telescopic Tube

CAUTION!
❐ On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e. g. wet carpet shampoo)
– Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
– Infl ammable or explosive substances
– Very fi ne dust (e. g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– Pointed, hard objects such as e. g. large pieces of broken glass
❐ Never hold the nozzles, the suction hose or the telescopic tube close to parts of your
body, hair or animals during use. They could become stuck to the device. If the vacuum
cleaner does become stuck, press the On/Off button immediately to switch off the
device.
❐ Before you start vacuuming, remove any large objects on the fl oor which could block
the telescopic tube or the nozzles. Switch the device off immediately using the On/Off
button if the telescopic tube or the nozzle become blocked.
❐ Do not pull out the cable with force up to its maximum length. It should not be pulled
out further than the red mark. The yellow mark indicates the optimum cable length.
❐ Switch on the vacuum cleaner only when you have checked that all the parts have
been properly attached, and that the dust container and the fi lters have been correctly
inserted and are completely dry.
The handle has an exhaust air valve with which you can quickly reduce the suc-
tion force if necessary. Open the valve when cleaning curtains, rugs or other light,
mobile items. Otherwise you should keep the valve closed.
1. Press the slider on the telescopic tube in the direction
shown by the arrow and pull the telescopic tube out to the
length you want.
2. Let go of the slider and carry on pulling out the telescopic
tube until it locks in place.
