6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 Changing the battery
Switch off instrument before opening it.
1 Remove battery cover at the back of the
housing
2 Remove spent battery
a new one (Part no. 0515 0009). Watch
out for +/-.
3 Close battery compartment with battery
cover.
6.2 Cleaning the instrument
1 Unlock protective cap using bayonet nut
and carefully remove from probe pipe

2 Clean instrument parts, rinse off with
water and wipe dry.
3 Reattach protective cap to probe pipe
and seal off
6.3 Adjustment
We recommend an annual inspection be
carried out on the instrument by Testo's
Customer service.
