Sealing of cabinet

The air tightness of the housing corresponds to RAL 652
To ensure the optimal cooling function the cabinet must be sealed:
- Pipe entries should be cut into the foam and properly closed with a extra foam if required.
Cable entries should be closed with foamed material

Air flows on the warm and cold sides of the cabinet must be separated from each other

Options

6.1

CoolCon Control and Monitoring (option)

The CoolCon control serves the control of air conditioning and the monitoring of the
CoolTherm. It is a modularly expandable monitoring and control system.
The detailed description you will find in the annex.
The CoolCon Monitoring Premium control provides a 10/100Mbit Ethernet-connection
supporting the TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SNMP and NTP protocols for communication.
Configuration and monitoring are carried out via an integrated web-server, a FTP-server and a
SNMP-agent. CoolCon supports SNMP and SMP-traps in version v2c.
All setups and status requests are performed by means of a web-browser. Installation of a
Java-Runtime version 1.4 is required. The access is password protected. It is differentiated
between visualization a parameterization level.
In the Premium variant, the monitoring disposes of up to three ventilators, temperature probes
for server supply and exhaust air as well as a box control.
Cooling water quantity can be adjusted by means of a control valve corresponding to the
cooling demand.
The ventilators only provide the actually required air flow; the ventilator speed corresponds to
the flow rate of the servers. If the rear door is open, the ventilators will be switched off.
One water probe, two door contact switches, one humidity sensor and one smoke alarm are
integrated. The values for temperature, humidity and alarm values can be configured and
parameterized in frame of the tolerances set by the factory setup.
Available logic functions are UND (AND), ODER (OR) and their negations. These data can be
displayed with delay.
Supported display languages are German and English.
The basis unit of the CoolCon Monitoring Premium does not require an additional 19" plug-in
module. The unit is integrated in the power supply box.
