Muting a Call

During a conversation, you can temporarily mute the microphone so that the party on the other end
of the line cannot hear you. During this period you can still hear the him/her. This mode allows you
to have a conversation with someone near you and avoid that the party at the phone is hearing what
you are saying.

Using Speakerphone

During a call, you may turn on the speakerphone built in the handset. In this mode you can simply
put your handset on a surface (e.g. a desk) and enjoy the comfort of the handsfree conversation.
Before putting the handset near your ears, be sure to have turned the speakerphone off.

To adjust the level of the earpiece volume,
press the up and down navigation keys during
a call.
To mute your microphone, just press the MUTE
MUTE
soft key during the conversation: the Mute icon
will appear on the display.
To unmute the microphone, just press again the
MUTE
MUTE soft key: the Mute icon will disappear
and you will restore the normal condition.
To turn the speakerphone on, press the call key
during a call (line engaged). The speakerphone
icon appears on the display.
To turn the speakerphone off and keep on talk-
ing in normal mode, press again the call key.
The speakerphone icon will disappear.
