6. The display will show you the copy progress in percentage. Wait until the entries are copied into
the phonebook of your COMfortel DECT 650C.
7. Remove the SIM card and replace it into your phone.
8. Replace the SIM card slot cover by fitting its two small tabs into the two slots of the base slot
and gently push the cover toward the base till it snaps into its original place (see the picture).
9. Reconnect the telephone line.
Even if the SIM card is placed in the base, the phonebook contents are transferred in the handset's
memory (not in the base), so the base acts only as a wireless SIM card reader.
The numbers contained in the SIM phonebook are copied into the COMfortel DECT 650C one and
added to the entries already stored in it which are not overwritten. The maximum number of entries
is 200. If your COMfortel DECT 650C phonebook already contains 140 entries, only the first 60
entries on the SIM card will be copied.
This function will only copy numbers stored in your SIM card. Check that all numbers you intend to
copy are really stored on your SIM and not in your mobile phone's memory. Refer to your mobile
phone user guide for instructions on how to do this.
The SIM card copy is not guaranteed with all the types of SIM cards.
If the phonebook becomes full during the transfer, the display will show Memory full.
If the SIM card can't be read the display shows SIM READING FAIL.
