Setting Access Code

Some telephone systems, such as PABX (Private Automatic Branch of eXchange) or KTS (Key Tel-
ephone Systems), require an access code (e.g. 9 or 0) to access an external line and listen for the
outside dial tone before dialing the outside number. You can set your phone in order to automati-
cally insert one-digit access code when you use a phone number from the received calls list or the
SMS list (when dialling 0P will be set in front of the number).
When connecting this telephone to an Auerswald PBX this function isn't useful, because the access
code will be transmitted from the PBX with received calls and will be displayed in the received calls
list. When connecting this telephone to an Auerswald PBX please leave this function disabled.

Enter the number you want to restrict (up to four
digits) and then press the SELECT soft key.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode.
MENU
Press the MENU soft key to display the main
menu items.
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
SELECT
choose 3.Setting, then press the SELECT soft
key.
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
SELECT
choose 0.Access Code, then press the
SELECT soft key.
Enter the one-digit access code by using the
number keypad, and press the SELECT soft
SELECT
key. When you dial a phone number by using
the incoming call list, it will be dialed after the
one-digit access code and the preset pause
time.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode.
