Setting Date & Time
If you like to fully get benefit from the functions of your cordless phone, you should enter the current
date and time. The first time the phone turns on, the display asks you to enter the current date and
time, in this case just perform the steps 5 and 6.
To change the date and time any time in Standby mode:

To enter the date, type the six digits which represent the day, month and year. e.g. for 15th June
2005 enter 150605. You can enter the year from 2000 to 2050. Enter the time in a 24-hour format.
e.g. for 10:15 PM enter 2215.
If you want to correct a digit in the middle while setting the date and time, use the navigation keys
to move the cursor to the wrong number, then enter a correct one.
If the electric supply is disconnected from the base (e.g. a black out or a disconnection of the AC
adaptor's cable) and the handset is switched off, the system time resets and need to be set again.
If date (only day and month) and time will be transferred as part of the CLIP information in a call to
your connection, this time information will automatically be taken over into the telephone. When
connecting this telephone to an Auerswald PBX the extended CLIP info (or CLIP info with date and
time) needs to be activated for the subscriber (in the configuration program). However, the year
needs to be set once as described here.

Press the MENU soft key to display the main
menu items.
SELECT
Press the navigation keys to choose 3.Setting,
and press the SELECT soft key.
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
SELECT
choose 5.Date & Time, then press the SELECT
soft key. The display asks you to enter the
Base PIN (identification code).
Enter the base PIN (preset at the factory to
0000) and press the SELECT soft key. The cur-
SELECT
rent settings are displayed: the date on the
upper line in the Day/Month/Year format and the
time in the Hours:Minutes one in the lower line.
Enter the current date and time using the
number keypad (6 digits for the date and 4
SELECT
ones for the time as below explained in the
notes).
Press the SELECT soft key to save the setting.
