Setting up a future
recording
You can set the timer to record something from either the tuner or
a component connected to the AUX IN inputs. For example, you
might want to record a program on the radio that is broadcast
while you're at work. If you're recording from an auxiliary
component it must also be able to switch on at the time the
recording starts—this system can't control it —or you have to
leave it switched on until the recording has finished. During the
actual recording, the volume is automatically set to minimum.
SET
1 Set up the tape deck ready to record.
Load a cassette tape, set the recording direction and reverse
mode, and switch on/off Dolby NR as required.
2 Set up the tuner/auxiliary component.
If you're recording from the tuner, switch to the tuner, and
tune into the station (see page 30 for more detailed
instructions on this).
If you're recording from the auxiliary component, switch to
that component and set it up for playback.
3 Press TIMER and select TIMER REC.
Remember: switch between timer menu options using the
4 and ¢ buttons; select the option by pressing
4 Use 4 and ¢ to select TIMER EDIT,
then press SET.
5 Set the recording start time:
First, set the hour:
Use the 4 and ¢ buttons to change the flashing hour
display, then press .

Programmation d'un

Vous pouvez régler la minuterie pour un enregistrement depuis la
radio ou un appareil raccordé aux entrées AUX IN. Par exemple,
vous pourrez enregistrer une émission de radio diffusée pendant
que vous êtes au travail. Si vous enregistrez depuis un appareil
raccordé, il devra être capable de se mettre en service à l'heure où
l'enregistrement commence, car la chaîne ne pourra pas
l'allumer, ou vous devrez le laisser allumé jusqu'à ce que
l'enregistrement soit terminé. Pendant l'enregistrement, le volume
se règle automatiquement sur minimum.

1 Préparez la platine à cassette en vue de
l'enregistrement.
Mettez une cassette, réglez le sens d'enregistrement et le
mode d'inversion et mettez le réducteur de bruit Dolby en ou
hors service.
2 Réglez la radio ou l'appareil auxiliaire.
Si vous enregistrez depuis la radio: Sélectionnez la radio et
accordez une station (voir page 30 pour les détails à ce sujet).
Si vous enregistrez depuis un appareil auxiliaire: Sélectionnez
cet appareil et réglez-le pour la lecture.
3 Appuyez sur TIMER et sélectionnez
TIMER REC.
Rappel: Utilisez les touches 4 et ¢ pour
sélectionner une option du menu de la minuterie et validez
l'option en appuyant sur

5 Réglez l'heure de début de l'enregistrement:
