e) Saving/recalling settings

The keyboard features 6 memory slots that allow you to quickly recall settings that you often use. However, these settings are lost
when you turn off the keyboard.
Saving settings
• First make the desired settings — e.g. rhythm accompaniment, instrument, tempo, etc.
• Push and hold the „MEMORY" button (12) and then push one of the 6 memory buttons „M1" ... „M6" (13) to save your settings to
a memory slot.
• Now release the „MEMORY" button (12).
Recalling settings
• Briefly push one of the 6 memory buttons „M1" ... „M6" (13) to recall the settings saved to a memory slot.
f) One touch setup („O.T.S.")
Each rhythm accompaniment has 4 different presettings. Each rhythm accompaniment is preset with a suitable instrument.
• First select a rhythm accompaniment.
• Push the „O.T.S." button (14). A small symbol next to „O.T.S." at the bottom of the display appears. The keyboard automatically
switches to „A.B.C." (automatic accompaniment, auto bass chord) mode, see Chapter 12. a).
• Push one of the 4 buttons „M1" ... „M4" (13) to recall the respective preset.
You cannot save or recall any settings (Chapter 12. e) while „O.T.S." mode is active.
• To deactivate „O.T.S." mode, push the „O.T.S." button (14) again. The small symbol at the bottom of the display next to „O.T.S."
disappears.
g) Recorder function
The „REC" and „PLAY" buttons (17) allow you to record and play back the notes you play on the keyboard. However, the recording
is lost when you turn off the keyboard.
Preparing recorder mode
Each new recording automatically overwrites any previous recording.
• Push the „REC" button — a small symbol appears next to „REC" at the right of the display and the tempo indicator starts flashing
to indicate that the keyboard is armed for recording. The keyboard has not yet started recording!
• Should you like, you can now choose another instrument or accompaniment rhythm, set the tempo, etc.
You can also activate the auto bass chord function ((automatic accompaniment, automatic chord) by pushing the „A.B.C." but-
ton (30). A small symbol next to „A.B.C" at the bottom left of the display appears.
Starting the recording
• To start recording, either push the „START/STOP" button (24) or simply start playing.
• If you have activated the auto bass chord function as described above, the recording starts when you play a chord on the lower
half of the keyboard.
Stopping the recording
• Briefly push the „REC" button to stop recording. If the memory is full, the recording stops automatically and the display shows
„FULL" for a few seconds.
If you push the „INTRO/ENDING" button (25) during recording, the keyboard plays an outro beat and then automatically
stops recording.
Playing back a recording
• Push the „PLAY" button to play back or pause playback of a recording.
