Repeatedly push the „FUNCTION" button (9) to access different functions described in the following chapters. Repeatedly push
the „FUNCTION" button (9) until the display shows the desired function.
The product automatically exits the function menu when no button is pushed for approx. 5 seconds.
a) „Beat" function
Use this function to set the beat of the metronome.
Use this setting only when no rhythm accompaniment is playing back (if you activate the metronome while rhythm ac-
companiment is playing back, the metronome will use the beat of the respective rhythm accompaniment setting).
This setting also applies when you are programming your own rhythm accompaniment, see Chapter 12. h).
Repeatedly push the „FUNCTION" button (9) until the display shows „Beat" in the upper line.
Use the „DATA DIAL" (18) or the „+"/„-" keys (20) to set the desired value (available settings: „00" and „02" to „09", default setting
is „04").
To leave the function menu, wait 5 seconds without pushing any buttons (or turning the setting dial).
b) „Split point" function
If you wish to divide the keyboard into two sections (lower section of the keyboard plays drums, upper section play the piano
instrument) use this function to determine where the keyboard is split.
Repeatedly push the „FUNCTION" button (9) until the display shows „Split Pt" in the upper line.
Use the „DATA DIAL" (18) or the „+"/„-" keys (20) to determine the desired section (available settings: „01" to „61", default setting
is „19").
The number stands for the number of keys on the keyboard in the lower section.
You can also set the split point by pushing a key on the keyboard. The key you push is then set as the last key of the lower
section.
To leave the function menu, wait 5 seconds without pushing any buttons (or turning the setting dial).
c) „Midi in" function
Use this function to select the MIDI input channel.
Repeatedly push the „FUNCTION" button (9) until the display shows „Midi In" in the upper line.

to „16", default setting is „ALL").
To leave the function menu, wait 5 seconds without pushing any buttons (or turning the setting dial).
