e) Connecting a foot pedal

A foot pedal (not included) may be connected to the „SUSTAIN" jack (43) on the back of the keyboard to control a sostenuto (sus-
tain) effect.
f) Connecting to a computer
Instead of common MIDI ports, the keyboard features a modern USB port for connection to a computer.
Proceed as follows:
• Turn the keyboard off.
• Turn on your computer and wait until the operating system has loaded fully.
• Connect the USB port (42) on the keyboard to a free USB port on your computer using a suitable USB cable (included).
• Turn on the keyboard.
• Windows may recognize that new hardware has been installed. The required drivers are part of your operating system (Win-
dows XP and above required). For use with Windows, follow Windows instructions for installation.
No software is included with the keyboard. You may use any program that supports external USB keyboards.

g) Inserting the sheet music rest

There is a slot on top of the keyboard to insert the included sheet music rest.
The sheet music rest is suited for sheet music or sheet music booklets but will not support heavy books. Heavy books
may damage the sheet music rest or the keyboard and void the warranty!
