The safety instructions given before, item 6 to 7, are very important, please observe every single item.
Non-observance may cause injuries, machine damage or the warranty may lapse.
13.1 F2C-T installation and assembly procedure
The FINE CYCLO reduction assemblies Type F2C-T are shipped without painting.
13.2 F2C-T lubrication prior assembly
The reduction assembly series FINE CYCLO Type F2C-T are drained of grease at the time of shipment,
please be sure to fill the unit with grease Multemp FZ No.00 or Shell Alvania EP GreaseR0, quanti-
ties according to tab. 1 (grease filler port position see picture below). These greases are suitable for
operating temperatures of -10°C to +40°C.
After the units have been properly filled with grease, the are lifetime lubricated.
We recommend the unit is returned to Sumitomo Drive Technologies for inspection and regreasing after
5 years to increase service lifetime.
