c) Checking and setting the Pitch Values

First verify the correct mounting of the servo lever on the swashplate servos. If the control stick for the pitch steering is located in the intermediate position, the servo lever
must be at a 90° angle to the linkage rods.
The pitch value of the main rotor blades should then amount to 5°–6°. A suitable pitch adjustment gauge should absolutely be used for measuring the pitch value.
The following combinations have shown themselves to be an ideal initial basis for setting your personal values with respect to the individual flight states.

d) Checking and Setting the Tracking

After you have made the necessary settings on the remote control and to the mechanics, you can now check the tracking.
Checking the tracking is best done during flight. For this, mark the end of a rotor blade with a dark or fluorescent piece of tape. While hovering at head height, you will be
able to notice which rotor blade needs to be corrected. On both linkage rods A and B set an exact tracking of the auxiliary paddle and the rotor blades.
