Caution: The speed system is correctly adjusted when the full
speed of the glider travel can be used. Make sure that it is
not adjusted so short that the wing is accelerated all the time
(i.e. speed lines under tension while speed bar is released).
Attaching the cockpit
Two tape loops below the chest strap are available for attaching the
cockpit. The main carabiners could also be used.
Info: There are two ADVANCE cockpits you can use. The
GUARD cockpit for holding your reserve, and the CARRY
cockpit for baggage or ballast; both have an Instrument
panel and widely adjustable mounting.
