2. EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS

This symbol is used when your health is at risk, e.g. from an electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in these operating
instructions that must be strictly observed.
The „arrow" symbol indicates that special advice and notes on operation are provided
here.

3. INTENDED USE

The model construction charger „eN5" is solely designed for private use in the model construc-
tion area, for charging rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries with 4-8 cells and the operating
times associated with it.
Read these operating instructions completely and attentively; they contain a lot of important
information on setup, function and operation. The safety notes and all other information in
these operating instructions always have to be observed.
Any other use than the one described above will damage the product and cause danger, such
as short-circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or converted
and the casing must not be opened!
This product complies with the statutory national and European requirements.
