The tables contain a selection of dishes which are
particularly suitable for your steam oven. In this
section you will learn which accessories to use and
the optimum cooking times.
When cooking, always insert the wire grill into the
steam oven and place the accessories or ovenware
on top.
The collection dish used with the perforated cooking
tray is adequate for most dishes.
If you wish to add particular herbs or spices to the
food, or cook fish on a bed of vegetables, for
example, use a shallow glass or china bowl. Place the
bowl directly on the wire grill.
Food which would normally be prepared in a
bain marie should always be covered with aluminium
foil.
The cooking time depends on the type, quality and
size of the food. The specifications in the tables are
provided as guidelines only. Use the sizes indicated
as a guide. If you are cooking smaller items, shorten
the cooking time correspondingly. If you are cooking
larger items, extend the cooking time
correspondingly.
Always distribute the food evenly in the ovenware or
the perforated cooking tray. The food will not cook
evenly if the layers are different heights.
