Operating principle

4.4.1 PnP(1/FC) version (FLUID CONTROL)
When a tap is opened, the pressure in the installation drops and the pumps starts
immediately at the 1.5 bar threshold.
The pump keeps running for as long as there is at least some minimum flow in the

installation.

When the tap is closed, the pump stops automatically after a delay of few seconds. The
automatic control protects the pump against dry running by shutting down the motor.
This shutdown is reported by the "ALARM" check light (the red led). The "RESET"
button is used to restart the pump.
Others signal elements of the FLUID CONTROL.
POWER / red led: Mains power is on,the pump is on ready standby.
ON / yellow led: pump runs.
4.4.2 PnP(2/PS) version (vessel and pressure contactor)
The pump in operation discharges water into the bladder, compressing the air in the
vessel. When the max pressure set is reached, the Pumps stops. The air presses on
the bladder, driving water into the distribution pipe when a tap is opened. When enough
water is drawn off for the minimum pressure to reached, the pump strarts to deliver
water and refill the bladder.
The pressure contactor automates the operation of the booster, the pressures can be
read on the pressure gauge. The reserve of water in the bladder means that water can
be drawn without starting the pump.
5 Installation
The pump can operate in vertical or horizontal position (For the horizontal position only
with a cooling pipe).

Installation
The borehole or pumping station must be in accordance with accepted good
practice.
Check that water infeed to the borehole or well is adequate for the capacity of the
unit.
The unit is lowered into position using a hoist with a cable and tripod.
To ensure that the unit never runs dry, make sure that even in periods of low water
the water level never falls below the discharge port.
