CAUTION
Risk of infection due to growth of bacteria
Inadequate or ineffective disinfection encourages the growth
of bacteria and thus increases the risk of infection.
• Always comply with the specified minimum disinfection
time and the required microwave power.
• The disinfector must be perfectly clean.
• Check regularly that the microwave and the disinfector are
functioning perfectly.
• Use only water for disinfection, never use chemicals.
NOTICE
Risk of damaging the components with microwave radi-
ation
If the product components are exposed to microwave radi-
ation directly and without protection, they will be damaged.
• When heating the components in the microwave, always
use a suitable microwave disinfector.
• Do not use the grill function.
NOTICE
The LC interrupter is not designed to withstand exposure to
microwaves, and must therefore not be disinfected in a mi-
crowave oven.
Microwave disinfectors ensure effective disinfection of the
product components in a standard commercial microwave
oven.
