MAINTENANCE AND CARE

4.1 Preparation

• Pull the two tubes and the adapter off the nebuliser.
• Detach the adapter from the tube.
• Open the cap of the nebuliser.
• Make sure that all medication residues are removed from
the nebuliser.
• Dismantle the nebuliser into its individual parts.
• Rinse all components of the nebuliser under running tap wa-
ter. This must be done especially thoroughly if cleaning and
disinfection are not carried out straight away.

4.2 Drying the connection tubes

The PARI SINUS tube system must not be cleaned or disin-
fected.
• Insert one of the two tubes into the air connection on the
compressor.
• Switch the compressor on.
• Allow air to blow through the tube until the "Air" has re-
moved all moisture from the tube.
• Switch the compressor off.
• Disconnect the tube from the compressor, and attach the
other tube to the air connection.
• Repeat the process as described for the first tube.

4.3 Maintaining the compressor

Do not attempt to carry out any maintenance on the device un-
less it is switched off and the power plug has been disconnec-
ted from the socket.
