Assembly with the FASTFIX
quick-action fixing nut
Some versions of the machine are fitted with a
FASTFIX quick-action nut, which allows the
clamping of the grinding wheel without using
tools (see the notice on the packaging –
FASTFIX). This fixing nut can be tightened and
loosened by hand only (do not use any addi-
tional fixing tool!).

The mounting of the grinding wheel is carried
out in the same way as in the machine version
without the quick-action fixing nut but after
pressing the spindle clamp the quick-action
fixing nut (18) can only be tightened by hand .
Do not tighten the quick-action fixing nut
without the wheel. This might result in
damage to its mechanism.
