� Apply the machine to the material only when
switched on.
� Do not carry the machine by the lead.
� For safety reason the workpiece must be
clamped in a vice or a clamping jig. In such a
way the workpiece can be operated by both
hands.
� The flexible lead plug only connect into the
socket when the machine is off.
� Do not use cutting wheels for grinding.
� Before replacing the grinding wheel or during
other operations always disconnect the plug
from the socket (power supply).
� When cutting or separating stone or brick-
work it is necessary to use slide guides.
� Do not work on a ladder.
� Persons under 16 are not allowed to work
with the grinding machine.

Installation of protective elements
The grinder may only be used with the guard
in place and the auxiliary handle affixed.
Guard
Loosen the clamping lever (11).
Fit the guard (9) onto the spindle collar (6). The
guiding pad (10) must fit into the groove on the
spindle collar.
Put the guard (9) into a suitable operating posi-
tion and firmly tighten the collar with the clamping
lever (11).

Due to the safety reasons, it is necessary to
tighten the ensioning nut (12) by means of torque
moment 3 + 0.5 Nm.

Auxiliary handle

Special construction "VIBRASTOP" regulates
the vibrations with auxiliary handle (8). Auxiliary
handle can be screwed from the left or right side
of gearbox (5). Some operations may require
the handle screwed to the top of gearbox.

Fitting the grinding disc

Assembly with the standard clamping
nut

Clean the lower flange (13) and the clamping
nut (15), as well as the clamping surface on the
grinder disc.
Place the backing flange (13) on the grinder
spindle (7).
Fit the grinding disc (14). The backing flange (13)
must fit the hole of the grinding disc (14) exactly.
Press in the spindle locking button (4).
Make sure that the grinder spindle is not
turning before pressing the spindle locking
button.
Turn the grinding disc (14) / grinder spindle (7),
until the spindle lock (4) engages.
Firmly tighten the clamping nut (15) using the
wrench (16).
Before switching on check that the grinder disc
can rotate freely.

Clean the bearing surface of the self-balancing
unit (17) and the clamping nut (15), as well as
the clamping surfaces of the grinding wheel.
Mount the grinding wheel (14). The shoulder of
the self-balancing unit (17) must accurately fit
into the hole of the grinding wheel (14).
Push the lock pin of the spindle in (4).
Push the lock pin in only when the ma-
chine is switched off and the spindle is
stationary.
Rotate the grinding wheel (14) / grinding spindle
(7) until the lock pin (4) does not snap in.
Tightly fasten the clamping nut (15) by the
wrench (16).
Before switching on check the grinding wheel
oro free rotation.
