2.6 Tools for the ESM 1500

• Felt sanding disc for accommodating double-sided sandpaper and carbide sanding discs (1 per pack)
• Replacement felt mat for felt sanding disc (1 per pack)
• Double-sided sandpaper Ø 375 mm, grain size 16, grain size 24, grain size 30, grain size 40,
grain size 60 (10 sheets per pack)
• Carbide sanding disc, Ø 375 mm, grain size 24 (1 per pack)
• Carbide sanding disc, Ø 375 mm, grain size 36 (1 per pack)
Step 3:
Assemble the two suction pieces so that the bevelled side faces inwards. Then adjust
to the desired level in accordance with the height of the disc and secure in place (Fig.
4).
Step 4:
Assemble the Y-piece to the rear of the guide bar as shown in Fig. 5, 6 and 7. When
doing this please note that the red bracket may need to be moved upwards slightly in
order for the position of the mount to correspond with the length of the hoses.
Step 5:
Insert the hoses onto the suction ports on both sides of the machine and adjust the
Velcro strap so that the desired height to the ground is established (Fig. 8).
Connecting the vacuum:
Connect the suction hose from the industrial vacuum to the Y-piece adapter and
secure it to the guide bar of the sanding machine by using the hose bracket (not
shown).
