5.3. Safety temperature delimiter

Your pellet stove has a safety temperature delimiter fitted on the back. This switches off the stove
automatically in the case of overheating. In this case, you must determine the cause of overheating
(back-burning, etc.) and eliminate it. After doing this, press the reset button on the safety temperature
delimiter back in to make the stove ready for operation again.

6. Cleaning/servicing

Because cleaning intervals depend greatly on the installation location and operating hours, the times
stated in the following table can only be considered to be reference values. Basically, all of the following
components must be cleaned depending on their degree of contamination. A service engineer must carry
out annual servicing.
Cleaning the viewing window
Visual inspection of the burner bowl and grate, remove clinging deposits
Emptying of the ash box and cleaning of the combustion chamber
Cleaning of the flue gas ducts, flue gas collectors and exhaust duct blowers
Cleaning of the screw conveyor chute and pellet tank
Replace the battery
Inspection of all the seals (door, ash box, tank lid, blower housing, etc.);
replace if necessary
Cleaning of the chimney as per the chimney sweep specialist

7. Replacing the Battery of the Control Unit

During a power failure, or if the mains power supply is cut off, the control unit switches to internal battery
power supply. The battery supplies the internal clock and internal memory of the microprocessor.
If the battery is empty, the control unit functions normally as long as the mains power supply is
connected. In the event of a power failure, the internal clock stops and the operating phase is not saved
in the memory. After the power supply has been restored, the clock is reset and the control unit remains
in theOFFor "Fire up" phase.
