Old appliances should not simply be disposed of with normal household waste,
but should be delivered to a collection and recycling centre for electric and
electronic waste. Old appliances are not unusable waste. A lot of valuable
resources can be gained by serious waste management.
• Materials used inside the appliance are recyclable and are labelled with
information concerning this. By recycling materials or other parts from used
devices you make a significant contribution to the protection of our
environment.
The packaging is recyclable. The recommended modus operandi is:
• Dispose of any paper and cardboard into the corresponding containers.
• Dispose of any plastics into the corresponding containers.
• If a suitable container is not available in your residential area, you can dispose
of these materials with your domestic waste; but it would be better to take it to
an appropriate facility for waste recycling.
While unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene bags, polystyrene pieces, etc.)
should be kept away from children. DANGER OF SUFFOCATION!
These materials can be recycled when you depose them of in a suitable collecting
