Important NOTICE when unpacking the
Unpack the parts of the chimney very
otherwise you will damage the chimney!
1. The diameter of the exhaust hose must meet the diameter of the connecting
ring.
2. When a one-way valve is used, check after installation of the hose if the valve
works properly.
3. The extractor hood is normally preset for the use of the extraction mode.
4. If your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter, remove the carbon filter
before you operate the appliance in the extraction mode. The carbon filter
should be used in the recirculating mode only.
1. The exhaust duct should be as short and straight as possible.
2. The diameter of the exhaust hose should be at least 120 mm. Otherwise you
have to expect increased noise and decreased capacity of your appliance.
3. Ensure that the diameter is met if you need bends. Otherwise the capacity of
your appliance will be decreased.
4. Use smooth tubes or flexible, non-inflammable exhaust hoses only.
5. If the exhaust duct is connected horizontally, a minimum falling gradient of 1
cm/m or an inclination of 2
motor of the hood.
6. When an exhaust duct is used the ending of the exhaust hose must be adjusted
in the direction of flow.
7. If the exhaust duct passes through cool areas (e.g. an attic), a temperature
gradient may occur in the different parts of the exhaust duct so condensate will
be generated. Proper insulation of the corresponding parts of the exhaust duct
chimney!
