1. Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in the
chapter waste management.
2. Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use
any aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-
protection.
3. Check before installation that the power cord or the appliance itself are not
damaged.
4. The appliance must be connected to the mains with a properly grounded socket
only.
