• Normal triggering is the only triggermode for
timebases of 0,1µs/div or faster because of
the oversampling method.
• At a time base of 0.2µs/div to 0.5s/div,
there is always a pre-triggering, at which
32 samples before the trigger point will be
shown.
Trigger slope :
• Press the 'Trigger'-key to set the cursor-
keys action into 'trigger' mode.
• Press the ◄ or ►cursor key to set
triggering at the rising or falling edge of the
input signal.
1. Triggering on the rising slope of the
signal (1):
The screen will only display the signal
when a positive slope is "detected", viz.
the signal has to rise in vertical direction
in order to trigger. (Fig 58)
2. Triggering on the falling slope of the
signal (2):
The screen will only display the signal
when a negative slope is "detected", viz.
the signal has to drop in vertical direction
in order to trigger. (Fig 59)
Changing the trigger level (3):
