ADJUSTING THE CONTRAST
Hold the contrast key until the desired contrast
is set, the direction of the contrast will be
reversed when you release the contrast button
and press it again.
The contrast setting is saved when the device
is deactivated.
BACKLIGHT
Activating and deactivating the backlight
The backlight remains on when the APS230 is
powered by an adapter.
When the unit is left idle for 45 seconds, the
backlight is turned off when the 'power off'
timer is selected and the unit runs on
batteries.
The backlight will stay on if the APS230 is
powered by batteries and the "power off timer"
function is deactivated.
