Troubleshooting

Fault
The gas cartridge cannot
be installed.
There is no gas,
although the regulator
is set to "MAX" and the
gas cartridge is properly
locked in

There is a smell of gas
although the regulator is
in the "0" position.
Weak/irregular flame

Possible cause(s)
The switch lever is not on
"Release"
The rotary knob is not on the
"0" position
The gas cartridge is not
properly installed
The safety device was
triggered. Note the groove on
the gas cartridge.
The rotary knob is faulty
The gas cartridge is not
installed properly
There is no gas in the gas
cartridge.
The appliance is horizontal.
Locking was not done
properly.
The gas cartridge is not
properly installed
The gas cartridge is empty.
Butane cartridges: Is the
ambient temperature
around 0°C?
Burner holes are clogged/
blocked.
The rotary knob is faulty

Remedy
Position the switch lever on
"Release"
Turn the rotary knob to the "0"
position and try again.
Fit the gas cartridge as described
in chapter 4.

Install the new gas cylinder, as
described in Chapter 4.
Replace the gas cartridge with a
new one. When doing so, please
follow the safety notes.
Set up the appliance vertically.
