much compressed airis in the charge pipes. The boost gauge allows youto
readthe bleed rate of charge pipes when you remove the pressure. It is
normal to see pressure loss average of 1psi every second. Faster bleed
rate athigher pressures and slower bleed rate at lower pressures
5. Listen for leaks. Use soapy spray if necessary to identify smaller leaks.
6. Fix any leaks points and then retest. Increase by 5 PSI up to the normal
operating boost pressure.
7. Go out and Boost! Enjoy the restored power from your
engine!Maintenance
• Check for smooth movement and secure connections before each use.
Never use this tool if any part is found to be loose, bound, worn, or
damaged. Tighten, lubricate, repair, or replace all such components before
further use. Only use identical parts for replacement.
• Clean the components of this toolkit after each use. Do not use caustic
chemicals or harsh abrasives.
• If this kit is ever unused for an extended period, clean all components,
place them in their storage case, and store them in a cool dry location
inaccessible to children and away from direct sunlight.
