Fast cooling
Fast coolin g sets the refrigerator compartment to
the coldest temp erature settin g for ap prox. 15 hours.
Then the original tempera ture se t before fast cooling
mod e is autom atically re stored .
Sw itch on fast cooling mode, e .g.:

The b utton is lit when fast cooling is sw itche d on.

Use the freezer compartment
To store dee p-frozen food.

To freeze foo d.

Note
Ensu re that the fre ezer compartmen t door has b een
closed properly. If the door is op en, the frozen fo od
will th aw. Th e free zer comp art ment w ill become
cove red in thick ice. A lso: waste of energ y due to high
pow er consumption!

with in 24 h ours ca n be found on the ratin g plate
(see d iagram at ch apter "Custo mer ser vice").
Prerequisites for max. freezing
capacity
Switch on fast freez ing be fore placin g fresh

products in the compa rtment (see cha pter "Fast
freez ing").
Remove the fittings. The food can be st acked
▯
directly on the shelves and in the botto m of the
freez er com partment.
Large quantities of food are frozen most qui ckl y
▯
in the top compartme nt. If the top comp art ment
is not a dequate for t he fre ezing capacity
indicated on the rating p late, you can place the
re maining q uantity in the compa rtment
unde rne ath starting a t the front right side .
Freeze fresh food as close a s po ssible to the side

panels.
Freezing and storing food
Purchasing frozen food
Packaging must not be da maged .

Use by th e "use by" date.
▯
Temperat ure in t he supe rmarket freezer must b e

-18 °C or lower.
If possible, transport deep-frozen food in an

insulated bag a nd place quickly in th e free zer
comp artment.
Note when loading products
Preferably free ze larg e quantities of food in

the to p comp art ment, w here food freezes
particu larly q uickly an d therefore a lso gently.
Place the food over the wh ole ar ea of the

compar tments or t he froze n food con tai ner s.
Note
Food whic h i s already f rozen mu st not come into
contact w ith th e food w hich is to be frozen.
If re quired , move the frozen food to other frozen
food containers.
Storing frozen food
Insert froz en food co ntainer all the way to en sure
unre stricted air circulation.
