protective hood
Notes
• If the function of the protective hood is
faulty, do not put the device into opera-
tion and contact our Service Centre.

hood (17) as far as it will go.

Adjusting the cutting depth

Notes
• You can infinitely adjust the cutting depth:
0 mm–53 mm
• Set the cutting depth approx. 3 mm
greater than the material thickness. This
gives you a clean cut.
• The cutting angle setting scale only ap-
plies to vertical cuts (0°). Increase the cut-
ting depth accordingly for other cutting
angles.
Procedure
1. Remove the battery (29) from the device.
2. Loosen the retaining screw (6) for the cut-
ting depth setting.
3. Set the desired cutting depth on the
scale (4). The upper edge of the reading
mark (32) shows the set value.
4. Tighten the retaining screw (6).

Bevel cutting

Notes
• You can infinitely adjust the cutting angle:
0°–45°
• There are no guide notches for angles
between 0° and 45°.

the maximum cutting depth.
Procedure
1. Remove the battery (29) from the device.
2. Loosen the retaining screw (23) for the
cutting angle setting.
3. Set the desired cutting angle on the scale
(22). The upper edge of the reading mark
(24) shows the set value.
4. Tighten the retaining screw (23).
