˜ Safety instructions for
vehicle impact wrenches
a) Hold the power tool by insulated
gripping surfaces, when
performing an operation where
the fastener may contact hidden
wiring or its own cord. Fasteners
contacting a "live" wire may make
exposed metal parts of the power
tool "live" and could give the
operator an electric shock .
b) Keep hands away from rotating
parts. Wait until the power tool has
stopped before placing it down.
Risk of injury!
c) Avoid contact with the tool
insert or the component part
immediately after processing. The
parts may be hot and cause burn
injuries .
d) Immediately switch off the power
tool if the tool insert is blocked
due to overloading or tilting of the
component part. The loss of control
can result in injuries .
e) Secure the workpiece. A workpiece
that is retained with clamping
appliances or a vice is held more
securely than with your hand .
f) In case of soft materials such as
aluminium or similar, using the
impact wrench can damage the
thread or screw seat if screwed
too tight.
g) Protect yourself and others,
including people in the immediate
vicinity, with the necessary safety
measures or precautions to
prevent damage to health.
