Traditional assembly
The traditional setup hangs from the ceiling
with a rod.
This fan can be installed on both a standard and a vaulted ceiling, and you can extend the
suspension length with the longer suspension rod (supplied). To install the suspension bar
you will need the following tools: a screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, adjustable pliers or a
wrench, a stepladder, wire cutters and electrical tape.

• If you want to extend the hanging length of your fan, remove the ball from the suspension
rod and use the additional extension rod (included).
• If you want to use the extension bar, follow these instructions:
1. To remove the ball from the suspension bar, loosen the fixing screw and remove the pins.
2. Lower the ball and remove the locking pin.
3. Remove the ball from the suspension bar and insert it into the longer suspension bar (the
top of the bar has a hole for the fixing screw; use it to fix the bar).
