5.1 Cleaning of the dispenser

1. Press the lever in the main-wash compartment and remove the dispenser (fig.
A).
2. Remove the cover of the softener compartment (pull the clip / fig. B).
3. Clean all parts under running water.
4. Install the cover and insert the dispenser into its recess.

5.2 Cleaning / Removing of the drain pump filter

 We strongly recommend to clean the drain pump filter regularly (at least twice
or thrice a year).
 You have to clean the drain pump filter if the appliance does not drain the water
properly or does not run the spinning programme.
 You have to clean the drain pump filter if the pump is blocked by any foreign
object (e.g. buttons, coins etc.).
1. Switch off the appliance is disconnect it from the mains.
2. Depending on model:
a. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the small opening of the bottom cover
panel. Press the cover panel using a lot of force - but also being careful -
downwards. remove the cover panel.
b. Push the two laterally-mounted pressure points ("noses") downwards.
Remove the cover panel.
c. Flap the cover panel downwards.
3. Place a container in front of the opening.
4. Open the drain pump filter, but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run.
5. Wait until the water has drained completely.
6. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
7. Clean the drain pump filter.
