Manual override

Trip cam

CAUTION
Trip cam must not travel beyond upper
limit switch with manual override.
Damage to switch mounting plate.

Distortion of the spindle guide.

Only actuate manual override within the
G
end positions, if necessary remove the
actuator cover to check.
If the actuator is equipped with
a potentiometer, use of the
emergency hand crank may cause
the potentiometer to move out of
adjustment. After performing a
manual override, therefore, reset
the potentiometer as explained
in chapter 11.2 before putting the
actuator back into operation.
If manual override is required, take the
following steps:

Switch mounting plate
CLOSED limit switch
Lower spindle guide
Unscrew the transparent cap 1 and pull it

out together with the adapter 2. This unit
forms the hand crank 3.

Remove the sealing plug 4 on the face.

Push the adapter 2 firmly into the
G
opening.
Crank into the desired valve position
G
(direction: as indicated on label) using the
hand crank 3.
