b) Setting the potentiometer:
In the condition as supplied to customer,

the potentiometer is swivelled away from
the actuator drive.
Connect supply voltage to terminal 2 (L)
G
and terminal 3 (N)
→ actuator moves into CLOSED position
until limit switch cuts out.
Gently turn the toothed gear of the
G
potentiometer (DN 50: bottom toothed
gear) clockwise as far as it will go.
Turn the toothed gear 3 teeth back.
G
Press the potentiometer support plate
G
onto the actuator gear and fasten using
the supplied bolt.
To adjust the play in the toothed gear,
G
loosen the other bolt of the potentiometer
support plate (on the opposite side of the
potentiometer).
There must be some play in the toothed
G
gear of the potentiometer.
Move plate anticlockwise:
→ increases play in toothed gear
Move plate clockwise:
→ reduces play in the toothed gear.
Fasten the potentiometer support plate
G
bolts.
