Position the roller lever of the CLOSED
G
limit switch approx. 1 mm above the lower
spindle guide by turning the adjusting
screw 4 (3 mm flat head).
Connect the supply voltage to terminal 2
G
(L) and terminal 3 (N)
→ actuator moves into the CLOSED
position.
Hold the indicator spindle by the red
G
marking
→ actuator closes fully until motor stalls.
Release the indicator spindle.
G
Disconnect the power supply.
G
Loosen the trip cam bolt using an Allen
G
key (size 1.5).
Push the indicator spindle downwards
G
and fasten the trip cam bolt so that the
trip cam actuates the roller lever of the
CLOSED limit switch = switch point.
Continue to turn the adjusting screw 4
G
1 1/2 turns clockwise (jam safety). (By
continuing to turn the adjusting screw
clockwise, it is possible to slightly reduce
the pre-tension on the diaphragm,
which will extend the service life of the
diaphragm. However, if it is turned too far,
the valve will no longer seal properly.)
Check for leaks.
G
Fix the CLOSED limit switch in position
G
with limit switch fixing screws 5.
2. Setting the OPEN limit switch:
(Prerequisite: valve body and diaphragm are
already mounted, CLOSED limit switch set
as shown on left.)
Loosen the limit switch fixing screws 6,
G
but do not remove them (Philips head
PH 1).
Move the actuator in the OPEN direction
G
past the CLOSED limit switch and then
back into the CLOSED position until the
CLOSED limit switch cuts out.
Move the OPEN limit switch upwards
G
as far as the limit stop by turning the
adjusting screw 3 clockwise (3 mm flat
head).
Move the actuator in the OPEN direction
G
until the stroke length in the table below
is reached and switch off immediately
→ stroke length must correspond exactly.
Move the OPEN limit switch downwards
G
until the switch point is reached (audible
click) by turning the adjusting screw 3
anticlockwise.
Fix the OPEN limit switch in position with
G
limit switch fixing screws 6.

3. Setting the potentiometer

a) Installing the potentiometer:
To install the potentiometer support plate,

loosen the 4 motor mount screws.
Slide support plate between
G
(attention: do not lift the motor too far
→ the toothed belt will otherwise slip off).
Replace the long bolts with short bolts
G
(on the potentiometer).
