9.15. Activating standby for remote operation
EN 60335-2-53 specifies that sauna control units with a remote start function
must be set manually to "Standby for remote operation" mode. This activation
must take place again after each remote start and stop procedure. Perform the
following steps:
Make sure that the sauna control unit is in standby mode.
Press the On/Off button 4 and the Mode button 7 simultaneously for
around 3 seconds.
► "rc" (remote control) flashes in the display
► The sauna control unit is then ready to be started and stopped using a
remote start signal.
► After a remote start and stop, the "rc" display and the remote start symbol
goes out and the mode has to be activated again.
To cancel the "Standby for remote control" function, press the On/Off
button 4 for around 3 seconds.
9.16. Remote start release
The function of the remote start output is selected with the remote start re-
lease (note EN60335-2-53) Connection: see "5.14 Connecting the remote
start" on page 21.
By default, the remote start release is set to OFF. The remote start is activated
using "Standby for remote control".
If you want to enable the remote start output for various devices (such as a
coin box, remote start system, door monitoring), proceed as follows:
The controller must be set to standby mode when this is programmed.
Press the On/Off 4 and Minus 5 buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
This takes you to the heating time menu.
Press the Mode button 7 to open the language menu.
Change to remote start release with the Mode button 7.
Make your selection here using the Minus 5 / Plus 6 buttons.
Confirm your selection using the Mode button 7.
