9.3 Installation of the batteries

The lights of the walimex pro Soft LED series are fitted with Sony V-mount / Anton
Bauer compatible battery slots. Depending on the model, there are one or two
battery slots installed (see part description and table with technical specifications
on page 64-67). With models with 2 battery slots, both slots usually must have
sufficiently charged batteries for the device to work.
• Switch the device off with the ON/OFF switch (5) on the device.
• Slide the battery – viewed from the rear – from left to right into the battery slot.
• A click indicates that the battery has been locked in place.
• The device is now ready for battery operation.
• To remove the battery again, press the locking button (3) of the battery slot and
remove the power adapter by pulling it out to the left.
Recommendations for using your battery.
• Change the battery, at the latest, when the light starts to flicker
• Switch the device off before removing the battery.
• This also applies for changing or adding another battery in models with several
battery mounts. Switch the light off before adding or changing the battery, and do
not insert other batteries into the mount while the light is being used.
• Do not let the battery charge level go too low, and charge up your battery as soon
as possible. This ensures the longer battery life.
• Please remove the battery from the battery mount while transporting or storing the
device. This is to prevent damage to the battery mounts during transportation and
prevents the battery becoming uncharged unintentionally.
• To maintain the performance of your battery, we recommend letting the battery run
down completely and then recharging it around once a month.
• Please remove the battery from its mount after using your device
