Power supply
9.1 Connecting the power adapter with the light (not for model 2400)
Except for model 2400 (internal power adapter built-in), all models of the walimex
pro Soft LED series have an external power adapter unit. On models 800 and 1200,
the external power adapter is fixed in a holding frame on the light housing. For
models 1400 and 1500 note mandatory the installation instructions of the power
adapter (see point 8).
• Switch the device off with the ON/OFF switch (5) on the device.
• Connect the connection plug (4-pin XLR) of the ac power adapter to the connector
on the light. Ensure that the pins are inserted correctly as indicated by the groove.
• The click of the locking lever indicates that the cable has been secured in place.
• Connect the 3-pin power supply cable to the power supply unit.
• Plug the power cable into the socket of the local electric power supply
(AC 220-240V/50 Hz).
• The LED light is now ready for use.
• Do the same in reverse to remove the power supply.
• T o remove the 4-pin XLR plug (4), the incorporated security lever must first be
unlocked.

9.2 Connecting the power cable to the light (only for model 2400)
On walimex pro Soft LED 2400 light, there is an internal power adapter built-in. So
this light panel will directly be connected with the local electric power supply
• Switch the device off with the ON/OFF switch (5) on the device.
• Connect the 3-pin power connection cable to the connector (AC INPUT) on the
side of the light.
• Plug the power cable into socket of the local power supply (AC 220-240V/50 Hz).
• The LED light is now ready for use.
ATTENTION
On the backside of the LED light, near the <AC INPUT> connector, 2 additional
power sockets are placed (18). These are marked with <AC OUTPUT>. With the
help of appropriate 3-pin power supply cables (plug socket) other devices can be
directly connected to AC 220-240V / 50 Hz power. The maximum power of these
two connections is 1500 watts cumulated. Exceeding this power output can cause
malfunction or damage of the unit.
