Note
Detailed instructions for the following activities can be found in the relevant sec-
tions of these instructions for use. Strictly follow the sequence of the following
activities during first time use, to prevent damage to the device.

With any action you take you should pay attention to the safety notes in the
corresponding paragraphs.

Preparing the device for use / mounting on a tripode

• Check that the light mount (11) is correctly seated on the LED light.
• C heck too, if necessary, the tightening torque of the fastening screws for the tilt
angle setting (16) (for model 1400 only).
• Close the locking mechanism of the ball head of the light mount (12). Please
note that the locking screw for tightening or loosening must be "turned". To do
this, pull the adjustment lever upwards.
• Loosen the fastening screw of the mount (12) so that it can be inserted into the
attachment adapter of the lamp tripod / ceiling mount.
• Place the light panel with the mount (11) on a suitable lamp tripod or a suitable
ceiling mount. Usually a 5/8-inch, 16-mm spigot attachment adapter is integra-
ted into the lamp tripod / ceiling mount.
• On the stop / check screw of the spigot slot of the lamp mount (12) (grub screw),
set the maximum depth of the mount. This function can be used to adjust the
maximum depth of the light mount to the mounting adapter of the tripod / ceiling
mount. The Allen key is not included and must be purchased separately.
• Tighten the lamp mount fastening screw (12).
• Check once more that the light mount and all attachment mechanisms are secu-
rely in place.
• We recommend, as an additional safety measure, attaching the stainless steel
safety cable supplied.
