6.5 Charging the battery
• Connect the power cord of the battery charger (28) to the battery
charger (17)
• Connect the power cord (27) to the battery charger
• Connect the power cord to the power socket
• Charging starts automatically when the battery is not fully charged
• The charge control indicator shows the charging status on the
charger display
• After recharging, remove the battery charger cable from the bat-
tery charging socket (17)
NOTE
Please follow the user information issued by the tripod manufacturer.
WARNING
Only mount the device on a tripod that has been designed for the weight and
dimensions of the device. See technical specifications.
Make sure that the tripod with the mounted device is safe against tipping over or slipping.
NOTE
Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of the
device. Should the connection values not match, please contact
info@walser.de or phone +49 8432-9489-0.
• Only connect the power supply unit to an earthed plug.

Power supply
7.1 Installation of the batterie pack
• Insert a sufficiently charged battery from the top into the battery holder on the back of the
lamp
• Take care that the guide rails are inserted correctly
• A click signals the correct locking of the battery
• Check that the battery is securely fixed
• The battery is installed correctly and the light is ready for use
• When disassembling the battery, proceed in the reverse order, press the release lever on the
light to remove the battery
CAUTION
■ Do not short circuit.
■ Do not expose to rain or immerse in water. This battery is not water proof.
■ Keep out of reach of children.
■ Do not continuously charge for more then 24 hours.
■ Store in dry, cool, ventilated place.
■ Do not place into fire or expose to extreme heat.
■ Dead batteries should be disposed according to local regulations.
■ If the battery has not been used for over 3 months, please make a full recharge.
■ Do not use the studio flash while loading the battery.
Loading:

Match the battery's groove
with the main battery
compartment's ridge.
Unloading:

Push the Battery Locking
Ring to the right.

Push down the battery pack
until it is locked.

Push the battery pack
upward to unload it.
