grilling / raclette:
• Set up the appliance as described above.
• Place the grill plate on the base of the appliance with the grease collection ring facing upwards.
Ensure that the plate is level and positioned evenly.
• Place the grill stone with the smooth side facing upwards in the central recess of the grill plate.
• Coat the grill plate and stone with a small amount of cooking fat or oil as necessary.
• Plug the mains plug into a household socket. The operating indicator light comes on.
• Turn the left thermostat control to the "+/MAX" position and heat the appliance up for approx.
5 10 minutes. The upper indicator light comes on.
• The appliance is ready for use once it has heated up.
• Place the food to be grilled onto the grill plate or the grill stone.
Fill the raclette pans with the desired ingredients (potatoes, vegetables, cheese, etc.) and place the
pans below the plate on the base of the appliance.
• Turn the food to be grilled over as necessary.
• Remove the cooked food.
• Turn the thermostat control to the "-/MIN" position and disconnect the mains plug to stop the
grilling process. Allow the appliance to cool down.
Notes:
• Place fish, vegetables or other food onto the grill stone in the centre for gentle cooking. The grill
stone is also suitable for keeping pieces of meat that have already been grilled warm.
• Do not place empty raclette pans into the appliance when it is switched on.
• Any fat that has leaked out with longer grilling is collected in the collection grate. Remove this every
so often, e.g. using kitchen paper.
Fondue:
• Set up the appliance as described above.
• Place the grill plate on the base of the appliance with the grease collection ring facing upwards. Ensure
that the plate is level and positioned evenly.
• Fill the fondue pot with oil, fat, soup, cheese or chocolate, depending on the type of fondue you wish to
prepare. Note the markings "–" for minimum filling quantity and "– –" for maximum filling quantity on
the inside of the pot.
• Place the fondue pot into the recess in the centre of the grill plate, directly on the heating element.
• Attach the holder device for the fondue forks, which also acts as a splash guard at the same time.
• Plug the mains plug into a household socket. The operating indicator light comes on.
Meat fondue with oil or fat:
• Turn both thermostat controls to the "+/MAX" position and heat the fat for approx. 35 minutes.
• Place meat or other food on the fondue forks and place them in the preheated fat in the pot.
Fleischfondue in Suppe:
• Drehen Sei beide Thermostatregler auf Pos. "+/MAX" und heizen Sie die Suppe ca. 20 Minuten auf.
• Stecken Sie Fleisch oder andere Lebensmittel auf die Fondue-Gabeln und legen Sie sie in die
vorgeheizte Suppe im Topf.
cheese fondue:
• Fill the fondue pot with between 200 and 400 g of cheese.
• Turn the right thermostat control to the "+/MAX" position and let the cheese melt. Stir regularly to
keep the cheese from burning.
• Once the cheese has melted, turn the thermostat control back to the medium setting.
• Place white bread on the fondue forks and dip into the liquid cheese.
chocolate fondue:
• Fill the fondue pot with between 200 and 500 g of chocolate broken into pieces.
• Turn the right thermostat control to the "+/MAX" position and let the chocolate melt. Stir regularly
to keep the chocolate from burning.
