• The heat produced during use may cause small cracks in the grill stone, as the stone is a natural
product and the shape may change slightly through expansion. The colour of the stone may also
change. This is not a quality problem and does not affect usage.
• Do not use sharp objects (fondue forks or other forks, knives, etc.) to remove the food in order to
avoid damaging the non­stick surfaces of the pans and the grill plate. Use the wooden spatulas
supplied with the product.
• Oil/grease can catch fire if it is too hot. Ensure therefore that the temperature is correct. If this does
happen however, unplug the appliance immediately and cover the flames with a lid or similar item
to smother the flames.
Never pour water or other liquids onto hot/burning oil or grease!
• The appliance must not be moved or carried while it is still hot. Hot fat can cause severe burns.
• The non-stick fondue pot may only be used together with this appliance.
• The appliance becomes hot at surfaces that can be touched during operation. Never touch
the hot surfaces.
• Only touch the heat-insulated pan handles.
• Extreme caution is required when using the appliance in the vicinity of children.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation or when it is hot.
• The appliance must never be covered by other items when it is in operation.
• The appliance must be placed on a dry, non-slip and level surface. Ensure that there is a safe
distance of 30 cm from walls, cabinets and boxes, as well as other surfaces: fire hazard!

This appliance has two heating elements/thermostat controls that are controlled separately and include
indicator lights:
­ Left controller: raclette
The desired temperature for the raclette or fondue is set using the thermostat controls ­ the respective
indicator light is on when the appliance is heating.
Set the desired output:
– /MIN: thermostat is switched off;
Medium setting: for keeping food warm;
+ / MAX: for frying, grilling, roasting and baking;
The thermostat switches off once the set temperature has been reached. The thermostat switches on
again once the temperature falls below the temperature that has been set.
